Travel is undoubtedly one of the greatest aspects of modern life. It provides the highlights of our lives, along with insight into other cultures as well as a deeper understanding of ourselves. Moreover, the stories and experienced gained from those moments often become talking points for many years to come. Nonetheless, there is one aspect of travel that virtually everybody hates: the travel.

For a lot of us, going on vacation means a total change of scenery. And if you live in a city or in the middle of the countryside, chances are you want to spend a little time on or near the water. Here are some trips on the watery vacations you could pick this summer:

Traveling is a great way to see the world and broaden your horizons. The thing is that traveling isn’t always as people make out when they tell old stories. Yes, you do get to try new things and meet new people, but it isn’t like that all of the time. Sometimes, there are long periods where you have to pass the time if you are a solo traveler. That’s right – traveling is just as boring and stressful as real life at certain stages. To beat that boredom, you need to take a look at the tips below.

It's summer time in the Philippines and I know some of you are scrambling to your feet for that ultimate backpacking adventure. If you're headed to what the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIC) declared as the most expensive city to live in 2013, Singapore, and you're thinking of ways to cut down the transportation budget without compromising your excursions, then you should totally get the Singapore Tourist Pass.

Food is an essential part of travel, probably why travel blogs are almost always bundled as food blogs. While I was in Cebu City, Philippines to visit my sister last week, I had plenty time to waste looking for good restaurants to eat at. Some of my avid readers and silent lurkers might have noticed that almost a full week passed without me updating the blog! I have a perfectly reasonable alibi but knowing you guys, you don't want to hear that so let's just say I got my last post last year's wish of coming home to the ocean. We were at Samal last Friday because my mother found her cousin's marvelous pictures at this place called Villa Amparo. We traveled to Davao from CDO on New Year's Day just to see the place (and get away from our crazy lives)

The other day I found myself on a bus ride to Camp Phillips, Bukidnon, with nothing but a backpack of nursing paraphernalia, a wad of cash and a friend I coerced to accompany me. What was I doing there? Well it was a holiday (our National Day of Valor) and it was only then that I realized I still have three cases I have yet to close. So I embark on a wonderful journey to find a hospital that will allow me to on-call despite my ridiculously bright hair (which will be explained on another day). Of course, I enlist the help of my mother who quickly, but not eagerly, hands me some money; my guy friend, a local of aforementioned viable location who just returned from his family's reunion of some sort; my close friend who's the girlfriend of aforementioned (what is up with this word?) guy friend. I go on a wild adventure to find The Hospital.

Okay, so pictures!
